The Way I Care for Families

I believe children deserve care that sees the whole child — body, mind, and spirit. I blend functional medicine, clinical expertise, and Biblical principles to help families understand what’s happening inside their child’s body and what steps can truly support healing.

Every child is known by name. Every treatment plan is handwritten. Every family is heard fully.

Mini Map Clarity Package

A full gut–body connection test, expert interpretation, and tailored lifestyle guidance. A powerful starting point for families seeking answers.

Clarity Consultation

A supportive conversation to understand your child’s needs and determine the best functional care pathway for your family.

Ongoing Functional Care

For families seeking deeper support, additional testing, and a personalized treatment plan. Enrollment begins with a Clarity Consultation.

Where and how I serve

Licensed pediatric care for children across Florida — education for families worldwide.

I am licensed as an APRN, CPNP-PC, FIM-P in the state of Florida. That means when I am acting as your child’s medical provider, I can only personally evaluate and treat children who are physically located in Florida at the time of their visit.

Virtual care for families across Florida

I am physically located in Central Florida, but I care for children all over the state through secure telehealth. Over time I’ve found that I do not need to see a child in person to deliver thoughtful, effective functional care — especially when we combine detailed history, targeted testing, and ongoing communication.

Telehealth allows me to:

  • Save families hours of driving, waiting rooms, and missed work or school
  • Support children in the comfort of their own home environment
  • Offer longer, more focused visits without travel stress
  • Serve families from every corner of Florida with the same level of attention and care

All clinical services (Mini Map, Clarity Consultation, and ongoing care) are currently available to pediatric patients located in Florida at the time of their visit.

Workshops & education for families worldwide

In addition to my Florida-based clinical practice, I also create workshops, masterclasses, and educational resources for families around the world. These offerings are general in nature and are not individualized medical advice — which allows me to equip and encourage caregivers far beyond state lines.

Whether you are in Florida seeking direct care for your child, or you are out of state simply looking for guidance and education, my goal is the same: to help you better understand your child’s health and feel more confident in the decisions you make on their behalf.

Why I Do Not Accept Insurance

Insurance does not cover the time, depth, testing, or whole-child approach required to truly understand your child’s health. Accepting insurance would force rushed visits, limited evaluations, and treatment plans that are dictated by insurance companies — not what is best for your child.

Your child deserves thoughtful, unrushed, individualized care. This model allows me to serve families with excellence and integrity.

Ready to Begin?

Most families begin with the Mini Map or a Clarity Consultation. If you’re unsure where to start, the consultation will guide you.

What Other Parents Are Saying

The impact of feeling seen, understood, and supported

These reflections come directly from families who took the leap of faith to enroll their child at Little Lanterns. Some began with the Mini Map while others went straight into deeper functional care. Every child’s journey is unique, but these are the kinds of changes parents describe.

“For the first time, someone actually listened to our entire story. We finally felt seen — not rushed, not dismissed, not told it was ‘just a phase.’ Just being able to share everything was worth every cent.”

— Parent of a school-age child

“The lifestyle changes Kelsea recommended moved our child further in a few months than years of prescriptions, appointments, and therapy ever did. We wish we had done this sooner.”

— Parents of a neurodivergent child

“Our 3.5 year old son slept through the night for the first time in his life. He woke up the next morning celebrating.”

— Parent of a young child

“Our baby went from a colic diagnosis and constant crying to a completely different infant. The screaming eased, the gas improved, and she started sleeping through the night. We finally got our baby — and our peace — back.”

— Parent of an infant

“Our teenager’s acne started clearing before she even finished her first month of treatment. But what meant the most was how seen and supported she felt in the process.”

— Parent of a teen

“By week three of our plan, our toddler with ODD and autism was being described by his daycare director as a ‘different child.’ Meltdowns were shorter, he was more connected, and his binge eating started to calm. We only just started, but we are seeing him change in front of our eyes.”

— Parents of a toddler

“When our young daughter's vitiligo started, we were terrified. With the initial plan, the spots stopped spreading even before all of the labs were back. We also discovered concerning markers like a high ANA and signs of mitochondrial stress that no one had ever checked for. We feel like we caught things early instead of waiting for a bigger diagnosis years down the road.”

— Parents of a school aged child

“Our ‘picky eater’ is trying foods we never imagined they’d touch, and they’re finally pooping regularly. We didn’t realize how much their gut was affecting everything until we saw the changes.”

— Parent of a young child

“We would make this investment again and again. Seeing our child come back to themselves — more present, more regulated, more like the sweet kid we always knew was in there — is priceless. I only wish we had acted sooner.”

— Parent of a child in ongoing care
