For families who are done being told “everything looks fine” while their child is still struggling. I combine functional medicine, pediatrics, and deep listening to help you understand what’s really going on inside your child’s body and what to do next.
Serving children across Florida via telehealth. Most families begin with the Mini Map or a Clarity Consultation.
Board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner & functional medicine provider.
Over 10 years in medicine, much of that time in intensive and pediatric settings including ICU, NICU, pediatric emergency, urgent care, and primary care. Now fully devoted to root-cause pediatric care through Little Lanterns Pediatrics.
I built Little Lanterns Pediatrics after years of watching families receive quick labels, rushed visits, and “they’ll grow out of it” answers that never truly explained what was happening with their child.
Here, your child’s story is never reduced to a symptom checklist. I slow down, ask deeper questions, review your child’s history, and use functional testing when appropriate to understand the root causes behind what you’re seeing at home.
My Christian faith informs the way I practice — I believe your child was created on purpose and deserves to be treated as a whole person — but every family is welcomed, respected, and cared for, regardless of belief.
I care for children roughly 7 days old through 21 years, walking alongside families who know something more is going on — even when they’ve been told everything “looks normal.”
Most families begin with clarity, then decide whether deeper ongoing care is the right fit.
A one-time, deep-dive functional assessment focused on your child’s gut–body connection, with testing, interpretation, and a results visit included.
I am licensed as an APRN, CPNP-PC, FIM-P in the state of Florida. All clinical care (Mini Map, Clarity Consultation, and ongoing functional support) is provided via secure telehealth to children who are located in Florida at the time of their visit.
Over time, I’ve found that I don’t need to see a child in person to deliver effective, thoughtful care. Telehealth allows families to avoid long drives and waiting rooms while still receiving in-depth, relationship-based pediatric support.
I also offer non-patient-specific workshops and educational resources for families worldwide.
These are the kinds of things parents say after working together — every child’s story is different, but feeling heard and having a path forward is a common thread.
“For the first time, someone actually listened to our entire story. We weren’t rushed, and we weren’t brushed off. Just being able to share everything and feel understood was worth every cent.”
— Parent of a school-age child
“The lifestyle changes Kelsea recommended moved our child further than years of prescriptions and appointments. We finally feel like we’re working with our child’s body instead of fighting it.”
— Parents of a neurodivergent child
“We would make this investment again and again. Seeing our child more regulated, sleeping better, and acting like themselves again has changed our whole family.”
— Parent of a child in ongoing care
Many families come to me after being told that everything looks “fine” on paper, while clearly watching their child struggle in real life. Your concern is not overreacting — it’s often the nudge to look deeper.
If you’re ready to move from guessing to clarity, we can start gently and wisely. Most families begin with the Mini Map or a Clarity Consultation.
